“Every organisation of the Monastery has got as a purpose that the monks get together for Jesus Lord, the peculiar gifts of the Cistercian vocation can flourish”. (Constitution 3.5)

“The training in the Cistercian life has the aim of restoring the divine likeness among the brethren by means of the action of the Holy Spirit. Helped by the maternal care of the Mother of God, the brethren gradually grow in the monastic life until catching up with the full maturity of Christ” (Constitution 45,1)

Conditions required to the applicant:

Sincere desire of devoting himself to God.
Have a tendency for solitude and silence due to a supernatural reason; spirit for prayer and penance.
Good Health and mental balance.
Being suitable for communal and lonely life.
Mental and physical capacity.
For the fulfillment of the ordinary duties, the studies and the manual works.
Absence of any impediment or commitment.
Canonical, family, financial or any other type.
Being the age of 19 at least.
